    DEAR AMANDA,

BRILLIANT! I listened to every word, and today am inspired to podcast on! Thank you so much for forging the way. This is excellent. Love your accents! Love your descriptions and the mystery and emotion in this story, even just the beginning .. ‘lingering like a perfume’ .. Love that it’s a true story of your family. We have simply GOT. to. meet.

    Kudos! A fan

That prologue is one of the most powerful passages. Just as Ian McEwen writes from the voice of an unborn child In Nutshell, Amanda Hale captures the earnest desires of the unborn – a sperm-becoming – to know a father. The first inkling of a confounded child whose loss of a father was not explicable…ever. Evocative…suggestive of the confusion and pain to come.

Hello Amanda. Thank you so much for this podcast. It was wonderful to listen to you bring your characters to life as you changed from accent to dialect! A really brilliant work. Until next time. Love, Helen.

Thanks, Amanda: You read well, and your background info is certainly useful to readers younger than me.
Keep up the good work! I’ll write at greater length when things calm down a little.
    Take care.
    Much love.
